Don’t Make These 4 Common Affiliate Marketing Mistakes!
Many potential affiliate marketers are drawn to the countless great “Tales” of fortunes overnight, while these experiences can be true sometimes, but it isn’t as easy as some have made it out to be.
Here are a few reasons why It’s impossible for you to get rich quick in Affiliate Marketing.
- Very little traffic
- A little bit of content
- No Visibility online
It really isn’t a quick rich scheme, there is absolutely no easy profit. If someone says there is, run from them as quickly as you can better yet try fainting like a Victorian Maiden.
Do not squander your precious time, thinking affiliate marketing is as simple as just promoting a product through a site and getting payed for it.
“Making Money Right Away” requires knowing your audience and marketplace thoroughly and even anticipating the trends.
What are the potential mistakes?
“No keyword research”
The first common oversight affiliate marketers make is their insufficient knowledge regarding building a profitable business. This identifies the affiliate’s lack of knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and specifically how to to go about proper keywords research, that can bring a lot of traffic.
- Google Keyword Planner
These are some tools everyone should e using regardless of niches that you are in. Copying and pasting the provided sales email copy to send to your target audience is just plain lazy, chances are another Affiliate Marketer is doing the same promotion and have already seen that same email. It is best to create the email in your own wording before sending out.
Lack of advertising through the various search engines such as:
- CPA which stands for cost-per-action
- SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
- Mass Media Buying.
Not investing in the right tools to support your affiliate promotion and tracking your “ROI. Not collecting Emails from day one with a CRM like AWEBER.
Cluttering their sites with banners that do not provide enough supporting information about the product, or a niche they have zero interest in or fit into their overall brand. Not researching the product enough to make sure they have a good track record and no negative reviews
Promoting only “One” product
Consequently, customers aren’t given enough options to choose from. It will always be easier to give potential ideal clients a few alternatives than to provide them with only one choice. Affiliate marketing programs comes in a variety of forms. Choosing a high ticket item that is out of price range for their target audience.
Promoting way “Too” many products
As a result, potential clients will be hard press to make a decision with too many choices and being flooded with so many offers is also a huge deterrent. You should avoid becoming the sears Catalog of Affiliates in your niche.
If you are in this for the long haul creating recurring income, really 4-5 tops affiliate products are the max I have found. It is easy to be excited to register for a gazillion affiliate programs after reading their sales page copy. Remember it’s the sales page copy’s job to entice you into thinking this product will solve everyone’s issues.
Similarly like the meme “Coconut Oil”, how it fixes everything even you rub it on your bank account. You don’t want your efforts to become similar, as you are trying to be a super affiliates.
This is really a disaster in the making. You will make some mistakes but if you follow the steps above you will have avoided the main ones….
